How strange it was to know Ariel was having the same dream, but from her point of view. This was something big, I could feel it in m bones. All these strange things were happening for a reason, and our dreams had to do something with it.

As for the virus thing, it was massively inspired by this book I read, called "The Hot Zone" which has nothing to do with insanity, but rather a strand of Ebola virus..
Which incubates in the eyes and destroys parts of the brain.
Mutate that virus and you get an insanity-inducing agent that has no known cure and a 99.97% kill-rate. :3
